Varsity College Marine Surfski Series: 4ª prueba

El pasado viernes día 3 de febrero se disputó la cuarta carrera de las Varsity College Marine Surfski Series, en aguas de la bahía de Durban (RSA). Y ya empiezan a apretarse las carreras en cabeza. La aparición de los grandes nombres y la cercanía del Dusi Unlimited, para el que todos entrenan al 100%, hace que las fuerzas se igualen por arriba. Y sin duda la carrera de este viernes ha sido un reflejo de ello, con 6 embarcaciones entrando en apenas 30 segundos tras los 8 km. de recorrido y lideradas, como últimamente no pouede ser de otra manera, por Hank McGregor, que no da tregua sea cual sea la disciplina en la que compite. Le venció el apretado sprint a las dos primeras embarcaciones dobles y al vencedor de la 2ª prueba. Matthew Bouman y al de la 3ª, Grant van der Walt. Un poco más retrasado llegó en 4ª posición el menor de los Mocke, Jasper, gran especialista del Surfski, al que la distancia de la prueba quizás se le haya podido quedar un poco corta.
